Won the toss and bowled first on what looked a good early season
pitch. We pinned down Fordhouses to 55 off 25 overs with contributions
from J.Rudge and H.Patel. M.Patel come up with the goods with figures
of 5-37.Both H.Patel and J.Thomas chipped in with 2 wickets to
restrict them to 150. After a descent start with S.Price (23) and
R.Gough we lost an early wicket and at one point were 66-6. A valiant
effort from the all rounders H & M.Patel who batted through the overs
looking very good at the crease. In comes J.Rudge and J.Thomas who
entertained us with boundaries galore. Great to watch and a valiant
effort but falling for 129. Very pleased with the boys with the team
we had. The bowlers saved us with ball and bat. Very proud!!!!
