26th May - home v. Milford Hall
Penn won the toss and put Milford Hall into bat. Once again Mani (2 wickets) and Jonathan Rudge (4 wickets) took regularly. Harnake Sanghera (2 wickets) and Ketain (1 wicket) contributed to another tight bowling performance. Milford Hall were 140 all out.
Penn batting was helped with Harnake hitting form with the bat. Penn were 141 for 1 after 18 overs. Harnake (75 no) and Jonathan (39no) both scoring freely and seeing Penn home.

19th May - away v. Whittington
Penn won the toss and put Whittington into bat.  Mani (4 wickets) and Navi (3) wickets tore through the Whittington batting. Richard Kimberlin wrapped the innings with 2 wickets. Whittington were all out for 94.
Penn made heavy weather of knocking the runs off. Penn were losing wickets regularly to some undisciplined batting. Whittington took 5 wickets before Jit Patel (23 no) saw home. Penn 95 for 5. Another good all round performance.

12th May - home v. Coseley
Delayed start 3.15pm. Penn won the toss and put Coseley into bat. Opening bowlers Mani and Navi struck early with 2 wickets each on a drying pitch. Harnake Sanghera (3 wickets) and Jonathan Rudge (2 wickets) applied the same pressure. Coseley were all out for 92.
Penn lost an early wicket and were 7 for 1 when heavy rain ended the match. Match abandoned.

5th May away v. Rugeley
It was another sunny day with another good track at Rugeley. Acting Captain Steve Tranter won the toss and batted. Steve fancied a bat himself and opened with H Sanghera. Penn did not lose any early wickets and made steady progress before H Sanghera (19) was caught. J Patel (100) and S Tranter (52) had a massive partnership for the second wicket. J Patel’s second fifty came in 20 balls. Penn declared on 233 for 4 in the 45th over.
The Penn bowlers M Patel (3-38), H Sanghera (3-10), and R Ball (2-29) stuck to their task of bowling tight and restricted Rugeley to 145 all out. There was a good bowling performance from J Cooper (1-6).  A good win for Penn.

28th April 2007 away v. Cannock & Rugeley
Penn won the toss and elected to bat. For the second week, Penn lost a wicket in the first over (N Hudson). However, the middle order came to the rescue. B Paddi 72, J Handley 64 and A Bhogal 50 not out, all helped Penn score 266(dec) for 5 in 41 overs.
The Penn pace attack struggled to take early wickets and relied on the spin control of H Sanghera (2-18) once again. All the bowlers eventually made good contributions. The resistance from Cannock & Rugeley's last batting pair proved stubborn but was broken by H Sanghera in the 54th over. Another good win for the 3rds

21st April 2007 home v. Beacon
The new season started with perfect weather for cricket. Beacon won the toss and put Penn into bat. Beacon got an early breakthrough. However, Richard Gough (55) and Dipesh Patel (140) had a 120 partnership and Penn scored 246 for the loss of 4 wickets. Penn’s pace attack struggled to get into the Beacon batting order. It took the efforts of Harnake Sanghera’s (5-8) spinning wizardry to secure 25 points for Penn. A good performance all round.
